BOTANICAL PORTRAIT  The Chamomile German Blue Essential Oil comes from Chamomile Flowers. They have a wonderful blue hue, grow anywhere between 15-60 cm and have a smooth, erect stem with long, narrow flower petals. SOURCE Most of Northern Europe cultivate the flowers used for the Chamomile German Blue Essential Oil. Chamomile is a very beautiful flower and is now grown all over the world in places like Egypt and France.ORIGIN To the Egyptians, Chamomile was dedicated to the sun because of its ability to possibly cure fevers and to the moon because of its cooling feeling. Chamomile was used to calm the nerves and used in shampoos, cosmetics, and perfumes. PRINCIPLE CONSTITUENTS The Chamomile German Blue Essential Oil from Hungary is composed of natural chemicals such as Bisabolol, Azulene, Farnesol, Farnasene and Thujanol as well as chamazulene HISTORY Chamomile has been used for centuries by Egyptians, Romans, Medieval Europe and all around the world today. Chamomile was mainly used medicinally for malaria, headaches, fevers and urinary tract disorders.
