Primary option for sending hazardous materials (HAZMAT) that can’t go by air.
The size of essential oil containers that can be shipped by air depends on the regulations for hazardous materials (if applicable) and the specific shipping carrier's policies.
GENERALLY:
For Non-Hazardous Essential Oils
Small Bottles: Bottles of up to 4 liters (1 gallon) per container are typically allowed for air shipment.
Larger Quantities: For sizes larger than 4 liters, such as drums or bulk containers, additional documentation and packaging might be required.
For Hazardous Essential Oils
Certain essential oils with low flash points or other hazardous properties (like clove, cinnamon, or eucalyptus) are regulated as Dangerous Goods. In this case:
Small Quantities (Less than 1 liter): These are often allowed under limited quantity exemptions, provided they are packaged according to International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines.
Larger Quantities: Special Dangerous Goods packaging, labeling, and documentation are required. The maximum size per package is generally limited to 5 liters, but this depends on the classification of the oil.

BOTANICAL PORTRAITLavender is green all year as a woody shrub that reaches almost 3 feet high. Lavender has pale green, narrow leaves that are straight from bottom to top. The Lavender Flowers grow on blunt spikes with an unmistakable violet-blue color. Lavender has a wonderful aroma surrounding the entirety of the plant. SOURCE Lavender is native to the western Mediterranean area, particularly in the South of France in the region of Provence which is where our Lavender comes from. Lavender is also cultivated in England and the Alps.ORIGIN Lavender has been used for centuries for cosmetic and aromatic purposes by the Ancient Greeks and the Romans. PRINCIPLE CONSTITUENTS Lavender is mainly composed of Linalyl Acetate at almost 40% while also containing Lavandulol, Linalool, and Terpineol. HISTORY In Roman times, they would put Lavender in the bathhouse water for the smell thus the origin of its name; derived from the Latin, Lavare.
SKIN CARELavender can be used for many skin problems including abscesses, acne, allergic reactions that can cause rashes or other skin problems, bruises and burns, skin infections such as eczema or dermatitis, insect bites or stings, and keeping the skin healthy from spots, wrinkles, and oily skin. A very nice lavender from France. Consistent scent, sweet and lovely, very floral. I sometimes blend it with lavender Abrialis to get a full lavender feel. I use this wonderful essential oil in many of my products and natural perfume oils.
