BOTANICAL PORTRAIT The Eucalyptus Citriodora Tree is much smaller than true Eucalyptus as it only grows to a height of about 35 meters. It has smooth bark and narrow leaves that smell vaguely of lemons. SOURCEEucalyptus Lemon Trees are native to the temperate and tropical areas of Northeastern Australia. However, it has since migrated to mainland Asia and can be grown and cultivated in China as well.ORIGINOriginally, the Lemon Eucalyptus Plant was used to combat fevers because of its cooling sensation on the body, the flu and colds, and has been used for hundreds of years to combat sinus issues.PRINCIPAL CONSTITUENTSThe main chemical constituent of the Eucalyptus Lemon Essential Oil is Citronellol. This chemical makes up almost 80% of the entire oil. HISTORYThe Aboriginal people of Australia used this form of Eucalyptus medicinally for hundreds of years to treat a myriad of issues with their people.
