PRINCIPLE  CONSTITUENTS The White Thyme Essential Oil will bear a higher percentage of Thymol at about 47% than the Red Thyme. HISTORY The Thyme Plant was given to knights before they went to joust as it was thought to give courage. Thyme was brought into the courts to ward off diseases during the Middle Ages.
