Cistus is produced by steam distillation with a dry, sweet aroma. SOURCE The Cistus Plant is Native to the Mediterranean Region and the Middle East in countries like France, Italy, Turkey, Syria, and Greece. This makes the Angelica Root Essential Oil extremely rare and exoticORIGINThe Cistus Plant has been used for thousands of years by a number of civilizations and cultures to help heal skin infections and promote general skin health. PRINCIPLE CONSTITUENTS Cistus Blend contains mainly Citral because of its citrusy nature as well as many other chemicals that appear in trace amounts that are vital to the properties of the oil.
