BOTANICAL PORTRAIT The Rose Geranium Plant is a perennial shrub that grows to a height of about 3 feet at its peak with leaves that are covered with soft and long hairs. Rose Geranium bears very beautiful pink flowers around the entirety of the plant. SOURCE The Rose Geranium Plant is indigenous to South Africa and blooms near September to October. The Rose Geranium Essential Oil we carry is imported from France.ORIGIN In native Africa, the Rose Geranium Herb was used to make a tea that, when drunk, was said to be able to help cure stomach upsets and internal bleeding. Today, Rose Geranium is still used as a plant around houses to keep evil spirits at bay. PRINCIPLE  CONSTITUENTS Studies have shown that the major constituents of the Rose Geranium plant in terms of percentages are Citronellol, Nerol, and Geraniol. HISTORY The Rose Geranium Plants were introduced to the European continent in the 17th century. Rose Geranium has been used to keep evil spirits at bay throughout the years.
